On February 15, 2024, Shakira announced that her new album, “Las Soones Ya No Lloran,” will be released on March 22nd. The 47-year-old Latin pop star, who split from football player Gerard Pique in 2022 after over a decade together, has released 11 studio albums since her teenage years.
Shakira discusses the alchemical process behind her latest work, stating that the goal of alchemy is to purify, mature, and perfect certain objects. In the creation of each song, she reinvents herself and finds strength in vulnerability.
Recently, the singer gave fans a glimpse into what to expect in the teaser for her Super Bowl commercial, which will be accompanied by her new album. The album will feature 8 new songs along with popular singles previously released, including collaborations with Bizarrap, Karol G, Rauw Alejandro, Manuel Turizo, and more.
This album marks Shakira’s first release on vinyl, with four unique artwork versions, each accompanied by an exclusive colored vinyl variant. The Sapphire edition will be exclusively available on Amazon, while the Ruby edition will only be found at Target.

The She Wolf singer has not released an album since 2017, after the success of her Billboard chart-topping album, El Dorado.
