Once again, Miley Cyrus has proven that her Hannah Montana days are long gone. The 20-year-old actress and singer recently appeared in Maxim and was named the top spot on their “Hot 100” list.
In the photo shoot, Cyrus went for a daring look by donning a pair of high-waisted jeans with strategically placed rips. She accentuated her outfit with some vintage Versace jewelry – items that she frequently wears.
Although Miley Cyrus looks amazing (thanks to her Pilates routine), it’s hard not to wonder why she always appears practically nude on the numerous magazine covers she’s featured on lately. While we understand that her non-Disney persona is essential for the success of her upcoming album, with her recent racy V magazine cover and her March Cosmopolitan cover, we’ve seen more than enough of Miley – both literally and figuratively.
It’s highly likely that her upcoming music will align with her unconventional persona as she has a collaboration with Snoop Lion on her album. It’s hoped that she’ll receive media coverage for her music rather than controversial photo shoots and her fluctuating relationship with fiancé Liam Hemsworth.
Having said that, Miley Cyrus has been absolutely slaying the fashion game lately. At the Met Gala, she was one of the few celebrities who really embraced the punk theme, and to top it off, she had designer Marc Jacobs as her arm candy, which is quite the feat.
