Bedtime after the Baftas: Emma Watson and Helena Bonham Carter nod off after a heady night of celebrations

It was a big night for Emma Watson and Helena Bonham Carter at the Bafta British Academy Film awards.

Emma celebrated the Harry Potter series being heralded for outstanding contribution to cinema, while the latter finally won a coveted prize for her role in film of the season, The King’s Speech.

And it appears as though all the excitement had quite an effect on both ladies, who looked like they were well in need of their beds as they left the post-awards after-parties last night.

They were in top form a few hours earlier as they chatted and giggled like schoolgirls at a party at the W Hotel in Leicester Square.

Proving that their onscreen hatred is purely fiction, the Harry Potter co-stars played up for the cameras.

Emma arrived and happily posed for pictures in a flirty nude dress after a quick-change from her red-carpet gown.

Helena, who was stunned earlier in the evening when she took home the award for Best Supporting Actress for The King’s Speech, lounged barefoot and rested her head on her partner Tim Burton’s shoulder as the night drew to a close.

Man of the hour Colin Firth was in no mood to slow down though, and was finally caught sneaking out the back door of the W Hotel at around 4.15am.
