Adam Silver spoke about the Victor Wembanyama case
“Victor Wembanyama is a fantastic addition to the league. He is a wonderful young man. I had the opportunity to spend some time with him. I know Spurs are very encouraged by his performance. Obviously, that isn’t translating into wins yet, but he’s a young player developing in this league.And will we see more Spurs matches as a bonus in France?“
Starting the matches at 2 p.m. was not Spurs’ plan, but we know that we have a huge audience in France and in Europe and one of the concerns we will have to look into is: how can we make more matches accessible to these fans in terms of scheduling? Maybe that will mean that there will be games that start at 2 p.m. during the regular season and others where even if they are not at home that will start earlier sometimes knowing that there is a big audience there and people interested.”
