“Miley Cyrus Rockes like Tina Turner and Engages Audience in Electric ‘Flowers’ Performance at The 2024 Grammy Awards”

The artist took home her very first Grammy award for her outstanding performance in the pop solo category with her popular song “Flowers” during the ceremony on Sunday.

Miley Cyrus wowed fans with an electrifying performance of her award-winning hit single “Flowers” at the Grammys hosted at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The 31-year-old pop superstar dazzled in a bedazzled silver outfit as she showcased her incredible vocal talents and channeled Tina Turner with her energetic dance moves. This marked the first televised performance of “Flowers” and left the audience in awe with its powerful delivery.

During her recent performance at the Grammys, Cyrus playfully teased the audience for not showing enough energy, jokingly asking, “Why are y’all acting like y’all don’t know this song?” She even tweaked the lyrics of her hit single to celebrate her Grammy win earlier that evening. The performance concluded with a dramatic mic drop and Cyrus confidently striding off the stage.

The last time the former Disney Channel star graced the Grammys stage was in 2019 when she collaborated with Shawn Mendes on his track “In My Blood.” Cyrus made her Grammys debut in 2009, joining Taylor Swift for a performance of Swift’s classic song “Fifteen” from her album Fearless.

Having chosen not to tour her latest album, Cyrus had only performed “Flowers” live once before her recent Grammys appearance. At an intimate concert held at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont for her birthday in November, she sang a stripped-down version of the track for family and friends.

“Fflowers” was released in January 2023 ahead of her album, Endless Summer Vacation, and quickly became a massive hit. The disco-pop song turned into a beloved self-love anthem and one of the most popular tracks of the year, achieving considerable milestones such as being the first song to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify in a single week, as reported by Variety.

Thanks to her latest studio album, “Flowers,” Cyrus received an impressive six nominations at the 2024 award show, including best pop vocal performance, record of the year, song of the year, album of the year, and best pop vocal album. Even though her song “Thousand Miles” didn’t win best pop duo/group performance, Cyrus still rocked the stage alongside other big names like Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Burna Boy, Dua Lipa, and more.
