Produced by Game Changer Distillery, which has been in operation since 1833 on the Kentucky Craft Bourbon Trail, this meticulously crafted bourbon is the result of years of dedication. Curry personally oversaw every aspect of the process, from manufacturing and blending to aging and packaging.
The label of Gentleman’s Cut features a heartfelt message from Curry, emphasizing the importance of shared experiences and creating lasting memories. He believes that these moments are best enjoyed with a sophisticated bourbon in hand, which is why he is proud to present his signature Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Aged for a minimum of five years in Boone County, this bourbon boasts a mashbill consisting of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. The result is a smooth and flavorful sip, with notes of honey, vanilla, and caramel, complemented by earthy and spicy undertones.
Curry teamed up with John Schwartz, owner of the esteemed Amuse Bouche Winery in Napa Valley, to establish a joint venture with Boone County Distilling Co. Together, they have created a premium bourbon that will appeal to bourbon enthusiasts worldwide and contribute to the growth of the craft bourbon industry.
Gentleman’s Cut is distilled using traditional copper pot stills and aged for five to seven years in charred new white oak barrels, resulting in a full-bodied bourbon with a complex aroma. The flavors of cinnamon, caramel, and toasted chestnut add depth and richness, while the name itself reflects Curry’s finesse on and off the basketball court.
To ensure widespread availability, Gentleman’s Cut has secured a national distribution agreement with Southern Glazer’s Wine Spirits. Additionally, the brand is expanding internationally, with China Duty Free Group among the select few importers bringing the bourbon to a global audience.
